Elaine also served as a radio host for Asheville’s WZNN, Entrepreneurs Edge Talk Show and was a columnist for the Asheville Citizen-Times. Elaine has also led several women’s Bible studies, retreats and has been a guest speaker for numerous women’s meetings and conferences.
Elaine is a graduate of Simmons College, a prestigious women’s college noted for producing some of the most influential businesswomen in America. At Simmons, she received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and later earned a Master’s Degree in Management and Leadership from Montreat College. Beattie has earned the distinction of becoming a Registered Corporate Coach through the World Association of Business Coaches.
Born and raised in New York City Elaine Robinson Beattie has spent the last 13 years living in Asheville, NC where she served on the Board of Directors of several community, faith-based, and women’s professional organizations such as the YMCA and Links Incorporated. Elaine is married to Rev. Dr. Charles M. Beattie II, a blues musician, and entrepreneur. They now reside in Atlanta, GA with their beloved dog, Miss Ella Fitzgerald Robinson Beattie.
